Cat Rambo Book Release and Giveaway

Cat Rambo’s new collection officially appears today, and this blog is part of the giveaway. Post a comment or question about the book below within 1 week (Wednesday September 26) and you’ll be entered to win one of the pieces of jewelry based on the Near + Far interior art by Mark W. Tripp that Cat’s been making.
Â
ÂThe collection is both near and far future science fiction, divided into two parts, with one on each side, reminiscent of the old Ace Double format. The stories themselves, many of which have appeared in places like Asimov’s and Clarkesworld, range from gritty realism to glossy slipstream, told with Rambo’s usual sense of humor, insight, and love of language. Available from Hydra House as well as on Amazon.com and B&N, the book is a work of love and art that deserves a place on a number of Christmas lists.

  1. The covers are great, the idea is great, Cat Rambo is great, but can I convince my wife to wear science-fictional jewelry, that is the question.

But actually, they’re so cool I don’t know if I would share anyway.

I love the Double format also. Maybe I’m just getting to that old curmudgeonly stage where everything was better in the past…
